Apply For Your Passport and Visas If Required:
All on trips outside of the United States need a valid passport. Participants on trips within the United States will need a valid picture ID. If you do not already have a valid passport or picture ID, start getting one immediately since it normally can take six to eight weeks to complete the process. (Update: the passport process in taking up to 12 weeks at the present.) To apply for a passport applications can be found here:

Or pick up an application at your local post office.
Visas: Visit the passports and visas page to find out the visa requirements for your country and what you need to do to meet them. At www.travel.state.gov or for Canada www.ppt.gc.ca
